| Ok, who else is going to see this? I've just booked tickets for next Saturday at the big screen at the O2. Quite looking forward to it. However, its the first of the modern round of 3D movies that I am actually going to see in 3D. I would have preferred to see it in 2D really, as I'm not a fan of wearing those glasses for long periods. But its only being shown in 3D at the O2, I really want to see it, the only spot I have free is next Saturday, and it basically is eye porn so you might as well get the full experience. | |

| I'll be watching it probably Wednesday night, working at a movie theater has its perks But if the movie comes in tomorrow like i'm hoping, I'll be watching tomorrow night instead. I will only see this movie in 3D because Thirteen is gonna be hot in 3D. Also note that i do not know the actress' name but i only know her from House as Thirteen. | |

| Will I be going to see it? Cybery outfits, neon, futuristic do-dads...nothing for me there at all! ;P I'll be seeing it next week (expect a costume change to reflect it...and yes I do know where two of the t-shirts are in real life...). I don't mind this one coming out in 3-d but I do think too many are. Resident Evil: Afterlife did and suffered from it. One you couldn't see it in anything but 3-d at cinemas, which I think is wrong. And two the plot was non-existent, just a series of at camera gurns. I know it's a series light on plot but this was weak, very weak. | |

| Well that's the issue now isn't it. To some extent, 3D has always been the cheap trick movie-makers can pull out to add a touch of gloss to an otherwise dire movie (yes I'm looking at you Jaws 3) and when we still have the likes of SAW 3D and Pirahna 3D coming along, that hasn't fully gone away. 3D where it really makes sense to sell the world in which the movie is set, so stuff like Tron, and Avatar, I'm not really against. I can see the point in it for those movies, and I've seen Avatar in 3D on a TV and its very very impressive. However, I do think we ought to have the option of seeing a 2D version of the films as well, and I do think people need to look carefully at what's actually being produced in 3D. One of the reasons I haven't bought a 3D TV yet myself is that I simply don't think there's enough content where its a must. Sorry, but I don't really see the point of football in 3D for example. | |

| Totally agree. If it all becomes 3-d it loses some of it's magic. Wayne Rooney in 3-d? No thanks! | |

| I'm not sure what to make of this film. I don't think I'll be seeing it in the cinema, unless it gets great reviews. I've read some bad things about it, so I'm really on the fence about whether I should just wait until it's on DVD and Blu Ray and just rent it, or go see it in the cinema regardless of what others say about it. | |

| OC went to see it and on his Facebook went about praising the movie as the best thing all year, even better than Scott Pilgrim.
So... yeah, I dunno. Opinions seem hugely mixed. I'm gonna have to risk having some of it spoiled and see specifics of what people liked and what they didn't to see if it's for me. | |

| I can't stop talking about it. The music, the graphics, acting was not bad at all. Jeff Bridges did a great job having to play a guy still from the 80s, he said "groovy" lol. I'm watching it again Wednesday night just because i need more. They also mentioned stuff from the original, funny stuff. | |

| I never look at reviews. As DS will tell you I fly in the face of what is a good film on many of my choices. What the critics hated I can love, what they love I can hate. Goodfellas is a boring, in my opinion, and Pesci worse than Jar Jar Binks. But that's just my view. So I tend to ignore what is being said unless it's by a few people I know personally will similar tastes. | |

| *leaves house* *gets in car* *drives to Sheffield* *finds Myron* *slaps him purple for the Goodfellas comments* *drives back to London* *goes back into house* Right, sorry about that. Myron is of course completely wrong about Goodfellas. Utterly and totally wrong, because it is of course a complete masterpiece. However, he's right that many of his personal movie choices fly in the face of what are usually considered to be good films. In fact, his DVD collection contains more turkeys than a Sainsburys food warehouse. He's also right that critics don't always know everything. As for Tron, I am expecting and hoping for nothing more than 2 hours of eyepopping visuals. I care not a jot about the plot or the acting TBH. I just want a visual overload for 2 hours and I'll be happy. | |

| Queen of the Damned, LXG, Hackers...all in my collection. All faves. Goodfellas. Absolute dross. But then I'm only really a fan of one gangster flick...and that ain't it! | |

| See what I mean about turkeys? I suppose of Ray Liotta had been wandering around in a pair of pointed ears, or spent 6 hours walking to a freaking volcano, you'd have loved it? | |
