Excellent. I rather like Jarrett. Arguably he had a rather over-inflated sense of his own worth at one time, and was over-booked in the early days of TNA, but he at least realised it, walked away and took a back seat.
I also heard really good things about him while I was in New York for Wrestlemania 20 from a couple who's son was supposed to be one of the Make a Wish "circle of champions" kids at the event. Apparently they had also contacted Jarrett about their son, explained that he was dying, and that he was a huge wrestling fan who'd love a signed picture. Instead Jarrett had visited the kid in hospital, and then personally got in touch with as many wrestlers as he knew, and got them to write or visit the kid. Jeff visited their son at least once a month after that, and when he got really ill, was there once a week. (I should add that the WWE also sent people, btw). Sadly the boy died a couple of months before Wrestlemania (WWE still had them there as Circle of Champions guests) and when he passed, Jeff stepped in and paid for the entire funeral. What's more they told me he was the first person at the funeral, and the last person to leave.
Ever since then, I've been a supporter of Jeff.
