I wish Curt was still about, and wrestling. He was a great wrestler. He'd show a lot of these youngsters how it's done.

Its amazing how much airplay this song got on legitimate radio stations. It was in circulation on some of them for a few years.

And yes, we all miss Curt. The greatest intercontinental champion of all time. His son is a classic example of "never gonna be as good as your Dad" syndrome

Just look for a former NXT member who isn't a very good wrestler and who resembles Curt Hennig. If you see this man, you've probably found Curt's son.

I've just watched a few videos of him wrestling, and he isn't that bad. He did a really good rolling Hennig Plex to beat Heath Slater in FCW. He has an OK look as well. He's probably mid-card material, but I'm sure he'll get better with time.

He'll improve over time, that's true. As will Husky Harris (IRS's son) and neither of them are appallingly bad. But the problem is that both had fathers who were very very good at what they did.

Mike Rotunda was a fantastic worker who could have a good match with a broom (just check out his 80s stuff with Barry Windham). Harris also has the legacy that his grandfather was Blackjack Mulligan, another great tag team wrestler. Harris is good, but I'm not convinced he'll ever be as good as either of them.

In McGillicutty's case, he's up against even greater competition in the shape of his father, who even Bret Hart described as the best wrestler he ever set foot in the ring with. Plus his grandfather was Larry the Axe Hennig of course.

There are of course guys who surpass their fathers. Arguably Perfect did it, Randy Orton did (even though Bob Orton was an excellent worker himself) and so did Ted Dibase Sr. The Rock is the most obvious example.

I Think Perfect and IRS Juniors will do OK, but their Dad's they will never be.
