Fade In
Inside of a large arena with the crowd going wild cheering,
holding up signs and in the back you see the TNA logo. Mike Tenay and Tazz
begin to speak.
Tenay: Ladies and Gentlemen, thanks for coming back and we
have a special treat for you right now.
Tazz: That’s right Tenay, my friend and old training
partner, The OC, Out Cold, Mike Nelson is here in attendance.
Tenay: JB has him right now.
Camera cuts to Jeremy Borash standing next to the Living
Legend himself, Out Cold, wearing his usual casual clothing of jeans with his
“The OC, Not Orange County” t shirt.
JB: Thanks Mike and Tazz, standing beside me is indeed the
Living Legend, The OC, Mike Nelson. Mike, how have you been doing?
OC: Well JB I’m doing pretty well, had a couple of rough
months but I’m in better health now.
JB: That’s right I do recall you having some leg work done.
OC: Yes indeed, after years in the ring, an injury was due
and this was caused outside of the ring.
JB: Where did the injury come from?
OC: Bowling, I slipped and fall pretty hard and pulling my
hamstring and tightening some other muscles.
JB: Oh man, well its great to see you standing up and
looking great. We heard some rumors in the back that you had a meeting with
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.
OC: I was backstage before the show to see everyone and Hulk
and Eric called me into the office wanting to offer me a contract to come back.
At the mention of the OC returning to the TNA ring, the
crowd blew up with cheers.
JB: Well it seems the fans want to see that happen.
OC: (Laughs) Well it would be nice but after 3 years not in
the ring, I doubt I still have the moves and such.
JB: Well we heard news that your old romping ground, the
CWA, is putting together a one-time Reunion show, are you going to be a part of
it?
OC: I’ve had a couple of emails sent my way but I haven’t
made a decision one way or the other. I might do the walk on thing where I just
show up just to say hi to everyone but like I said, I haven’t decided on what
to do.
JB: Well Out Cold, thank you so much for coming out to the
Impact Zone and let’s head back…..
Interrupting JB, the crowd begins to boo and that’s when the
camera pans to see AJ Styles coming down the ramp with his TV title on his
shoulder. AJ Style starts giving the evil looks to OC as he walks over and
grabs JB’s wrist to point the mic to him.
AJ: Well well, it seems a has-been has come to ruin the
night for everyone. I had a talk with Hulk and Eric and they were joking about
that contract, no need to waste the roster with useless talent.
The OC looks at him with a smile and grins, he then grabs
AJ’s wrist that’s holding JB’s wrist and points the mic back to him.
OC: Big words coming from someone who ruined his own chance
at being the biggest star in TNA by joining the ego of bigger has-beens this
company has ever seen.
AJ forcefully snatches his arm and tries for a punch to OC
but the OC caught it and gave him a nice right hand to the jaw. AJ backs up
stunned by the hit and the OC jumps onto the barricade and jumps for a flying
wheel heelkick onto AJ as he leans onto the ring apron. The OC gets up and
grabs the back of AJ’s head and slams his face into the side of the ring post
and slides him into the ring. AJ staggers to his feet as the OC slides in and
jumps up in RKO-esqe fashion and delivers the Flatline to AJ Styles. Out Cold
gets back on his feet quickly and looks down at the body laid out in the ring
as the crowd begins to cheer “OC”. Out Cold looks up and sees how the crowd is
reacting. He then signals for a mic.
OC: Well well, it seems to me that you guys haven’t seen
that in a very long while. So you know what, because of you all. HOGAN!!!! Get
that contract ready, the OC is coming back to TNA!!!
The crowd erupts with cheers.
OC: But hold on folks, that’s not all. With regards to the
CWA…..boys and girls, I’m going back to the CWA, I will be in action at the
show, and for those that will be at the show, I will be ON…THE…HUNT!!!!
The crowd cheers some more as the OC drops the mic onto AJ’s
chest and leaves the ring, giving high fives to the fans at ring side and up
the ramp and heads into the backstage.
