I'm fucking serious.
Now, I just gotta wait to see someone actually try this, and thus end up surprised that I really DO mean it.
Go ahead, make my day. Just in Bieber is an extremely talented young man, there's a reason he's got 600,000,000 views on Youtube you know. His musical genius knows no bounds, no one can hold a candle to him. BANNED. ..........for a little while. haha. ...for like, 10 minutes or a half hour or something. Yeah, putting a space there doesn't cut it.

| AND NOW UNBANNED. I think that lasted about 6 minutes. THIS TIME. I'll bet he never even noticed. | |

I'm interested in this. What do you mean too serious for its own good? If you mean in terms of games then Macs have plenty of games out for them (more now than ever thanks to the desktop app store) and in fact one of the things they sell the iPad on is that it can handle some pretty good games. I converted to Macs a couple of years ago and I found that whole "Its all uber-serious, its all for business and professionals" stuff to be a total load of rubbish in all honesty. They have a certain style to their products which can at face value appear cold if you don't know about them (I knew sod all about Macs before I looked into getting mine) But if anything, Macs are actually much MORE geared to being inclusive and fun than PCs are, because Apple software just seems to make everything easy - especially the fun stuff like creative projects with photos, video, and design. Macs just work. The operating system works, the software works, the add-ons work, its all just so so easy. I've even got my retired parents into using computers now I've got them Mac equipment to use. Honestly, I wouldn't go back to a PC, and I'd recommend to anyone that they at least give a Mac a go.

| I've had experience of MACs via a friend and can say I'd much rather have one. The only reason I don't is the cost. Serious? Maybe but you're getting a great bit of kit. I prefer using my netbook for now but, maybe in the future, I will get the MAC because I'm always considering it! | |

| Well there's no doubt they are expensive, but for the stuff that comes built in, the ease of use, the much cheaper software (£40 for the new Snow Leopard operating system when it launched, £40 for the new office suite) and the other advantages, they actually work out much better value than people think. And that's without the time you save because the thing is so much easier to use. | |

| Macs are way better than Windows, hands down. If you disagree then you obviously haven't worked out the true power and accessibility of the Mac | |

Sadly, I completely agree, even though I don't want to. I've used nothing but Windows PC's and i've only ever been familiar with then for about 15 years. Which is why i'll probably stick with it only out of familiarity. However, the number of computers i've gone through, the amount of hardware fuck ups, wrecked Hard Drives, bizarre, computer killing system errors, huge losses of data that i've gone through over these years, and therefore massive, massive amounts of money i've blown and wasted on PC's has proven to me that Windows has always and will always pretty much be the complete fucking shits. Sorry to say. I've never used a Mac in my life, and probably never will, but I have to agree that Windows is probably the worst thing ever made. It's honestly caused a lot of distress in my life, or at least a very large source of it. I've probably suffered through at least 12 computer crashes during my life. 8 of those times, everything on my hard drive was lost. and 5 of those times, so severe they completely destroyed the computer, as i've honestly gone through 5 different PC's, desktops and laptop's combined. The general widows system, whether 95, XP, or Vista all suck complete ass.

LOL! My dad swears by Windows '98. One of his various computers still runs on it too.

| We still use Windows XP in the office, and it works (after a fashion). Its just the rest of our software that's crap.
We're upgrading to Windows 7 and Office 2010 this year. Sadly we'll never move to Macs.
So I am stuck using both systems.

| I'm getting on with Windows 7 quite well. I've been using it since it was in the testing period, and I've not had any problems with it. | |

| Same in our office, the OS works but it's our custom-built buggy applications that hinder us. Macs all round would be fantastic but not going to happen due to cost. I don't mind staying on Windows at work as I've been using it for over 10 years & know my way around it fairly well. | |

| Personallly i still say macs are too serious for there own good, and to be quite frank im not shelling out serious amounts of my hard earned currency on a system that 1 will probably make me wanna throw it through the window and 2 have unexpected crashes that im unable to reboot (as is my expienernce with macs over the years) now my step son is like you big dave swears by them, thinks there the best thing since sliced bread and you know strippers and a real life, personally i think i would rather spend a fraction of the cost of a mac build myself a kick ass i7 with 2tb hdds and all the bells and whistles and whack windows 7 on (which is by far better than vista and me) and go from there just my opinion which im entitled to, i like the way the mac looks but by god there frustrating to work with. | |

uhhhhh nope, sorry. as the last one in you're not allowed an opinion till someone newer comes along. sorry man! Macs are where it's at! My Mac has so far been a pleasure to work with. With the money I paid for it i expect a few flawless, lag-less, crash-less and virus free years

| No, he's entitled to his opinion. He's obviously wrong, but he's entitled to it. Not sure why he thinks they are frustrating to work with or liable to make him want to throw them through a windows when the Mac operating system is ten times easier than Windows to use, or why he think there will be system crashes when Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) never crashes, ever, at all, and Windows is known worldwide as being a resource-hungry, buggy, crash ridden piece of crap. But hey, its his opinion after all Those of who know better can just bask in our superiority. | |
